Antiquities and works of art of U.S. origin more than 100 years old may be imported and exported freely from the U.S., excluding Native American and Pre-Columbian works of art, protected under the Pre-Columbian Sculpture and Murals law and NAGPRA specifically. Thus, the rules of exporting an object from the United States to Guatemala is determined by the origins of the object.
