Dr. Eric Darling, Associate Professor of Medical Science was recently awarded a Research Experience for Teachers.  This is a $20,000 supplement to his NSF grant. These funds will support having two local high school teachers join Dr. Darling's lab in the summer and learn about interdisciplinary research. By the end of this experience, they will develop their own interdisciplinary exercise that can be implemented in the classroom to introduce high school students to how math/science subjects often integrate together.
