Graduate students are invited to register and attend a Breakthrough Lab (B-LAB) information session on Friday, December 8 from 12-1 p.m. at Petteruti Lounge in the Robert Center. Food will be served and past participants of this summer intensive program will speak. B-LAB enables students to develop high-impact ventures and provides critical resources, mentoring, networking, and a final venture showcase. Past teams have built ventures ranging from 3D printing medicines, to first-responder drones, to a platform that connects people to therapists. Many have gone on to work on their ventures post-graduation and have raised money from local and national investors. Each participant receives a stipend to support his or her summer venture work, and students from all departments and disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.
