The AHRQ Post Doctoral Fellowship Program (National Research Service Award, #5T32HS000011-35) in the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research in the School of Public Health at Brown University is rooted in the premise that a multi-level, multi-disciplinary approach is the most appropriate one to adopt in studying how health services are delivered to meet the needs of individuals with chronic illness.
Brown University is seeking letters of intent for annual call for applications for $40K National Institute on Aging-funded pilot projects to generate preliminary study data necessary for investigators to prepare to develop or test interventions for persons living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD) using embedded pragmatic methods.
"Model Development to Predict Hip Fracture in Nursing Home Residents" presented at AGS 2021 in May was awarded the Best Abstract Award for Epidemiology. The group included Brown investigators Dr. Matthew Duprey, Dr. Andrew Zullo, Yoojin Lee, and Dr. Lori Daiello along with collaborators from LifeSpan (Dr. Alyssa Capuano) and Hebrew SeniorLife (Dr. Sarah Berry, Dr. Douglas Kiel, and Dr. Dae Kim). Congratulations to this group for this best abstract award!
