ArcGIS may be used by all Brown University students, faculty, and staff on Brown-owned computers and personal computers and may not be used for commercial purposes.   ArcGIS usage is controlled by a Brown license manager. 

ESRI software cannot be: 
(a) exported to or used in embargoed countries,
(b) exported to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Person’s List or Entity List, or
(c) used for missile, nuclear, chemical, or biological activities or end uses.
