CORE 1: Administrative Core

The Administrative Core provides the organizational structure and communication avenues for effective support of the fundamental research mission of the Brown SRP and its key strategy of academic-government community partnerships. Responsible resource and fiscal management are combined with scientific oversight to maximize the potential for interdisciplinary research and training, and translational impact on public health.

Specific Aims

 

  •  Provide strong leadership and develop processes that support and accommodate the growth of interdisciplinary basic and applied research, translational activities, community engagement, and training.
  • Maintain administrative structures that strengthen team building and ensure effective communication within the program and to all stakeholders.
  • Implement mechanisms that optimally promote the program’s objectives and ensure best practices for responsible use of available resources.
