Wheaton College Exchange Program

Wheaton College is a small liberal arts college located in Norton, Massachusetts, approximately 20 miles from Brown. An exchange program allows Brown students to take courses at Wheaton each semester. Wheaton offers a number of courses in feminism and women's studies, elementary and secondary education, and areas that may not be available at Brown. Course credit is posted as transfer work on the Brown transcript.

Access to Wheaton's course offerings can be viewed through the College's online course catalog and schedule.

Students who are interested in the Wheaton College Exchange Program should speak with Dean Besenia Rodriguez. Both Dean Rodriguez and the dean at Wheaton must approve all applications. Applications for cross-registration must be submitted to Dean Rodriguez in University Hall by the end of the shopping period every semester.

Transportation to and from Wheaton College is the responsibility of the student. Students should pay careful attention to the times courses are offered and encouraged to plan accordingly.
