This exchange program provides Brown and students from other universities and colleges the opportunity for both direct enrollment in a French university and continual support on site by Brown University.

 

If you are thinking about studying abroad on the Brown in France program, one of your first steps should be to read through the Brown in France FAQ's. Then stop by the OIP Resource Library, J Walter Wilson - Suite 420, where peer advisors are on hand to help!

Study is available at several Paris universities:

• Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I)
• La Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III)
• La Sorbonne (Paris IV)
• Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI)
• Vincennes - Saint-Denis (Paris VIII)
• Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po)
• or through the Internships in Francophone Europe Program

...or in Lyon:

• Université Louis Lumière (Lyon II)
• Sciences Po-Lyon

As part of this exchange program, French graduate students and professors come to Brown from partner institutions to do research. These visiting scholars receive funding for their stay through the exchange with Brown and the French university.
