Professional Track for Economics and its Joint Concentrations

We do not grant course credit for internships but officially recognize their importance via the optional Professional Track corresponding to the standard Economics Concentration and each joint concentration offered by the Economics Dept.

The requirements for the professional track are the same requirements for each respective concentration PLUS two 2-4 month full time professional experiences related to the concentration. This work is usually done as an internship.

Upon completion of each professional experience, the student must write and upload onto ASK a reflective essay about the experience addressing the following and to be approved by the student’s concentration advisor:

Please meet with your concentration advisor to discuss. If your original concentration advisor is no longer on the list of advisors, please select a new one from the list.
