Undergraduate
Undergraduates concentrating in Education Studies choose one of two areas of emphasis, either History & Policy or Human Development. This concentration is not a teacher education program. Its graduates often go on to graduate work and careers in a wide variety of education-related fields.
The Department also offers two undergraduate Teacher Education programs, the Undergraduate Teacher Education Program (UTEP) and the Integrated Bachelor-Masters Program in Elementary Education (B-MAT). Graduates receive teacher certification and are qualified to begin teaching careers.
The links below provide full details on these undergraduate programs, as well as information about the 5th Year Masters Program in Urban Education Policy (UEP) and all undergraduate course offerings.
