Thalia Field's work lives at the crossroads of prose, essay, poetry, even theater.
Her collections include POINT AND LINE (2000) and INCARNATE: STORY MATERIAL (2004), available from New Directions, as well as ULULU (CLOWN SHRAPNEL) from Coffee House Press (2007).
Two new books are on their way -- BIRD LOVERS, BACKYARD (New Directions, March/April 2010) and A PRANK OF GEORGES w/Abigail Lang (Essay Press, March/April 2010).
Thalia has collaborated on multimedia performance work, including MELT (2008), REST/LESS (2005) & ZOOLOGIC (www.HOW2Journal.com; Vol2No.2). Her work has appeared in numerous journals including Theater, Ploughshares, Chicago Review, Fence, Angelaki, and Conjunctions, where she guest-edited issue #28 on experimental music-theater scores. She is currently working on a novel, EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS.
