Janus Conversation
Join the Janus Fellows on Thursday, November 3rd at 8:00 in Kassar House Foxboro Auditorium for a conversation with Anthropology Professor Bianca Dahl on the misunderstood role of cultural barriers in public health policy. Professor Dahl will draw on her own research with HIV patients in Botswana to discuss the implementation and evaluation of health interventions. Why can't we wholly blame cultural differences for treatment failures? What structural factors and values should we take into account when designing solutions to global health problems? Hear Professor Dahl answer these questions in a 15 minute lecture followed by a question period. Free Nice Slice as usual!
