Professor Wendy Schiller: Partisanship and Congress

Wednesday, February 9, 2011 - 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Barus and Holley 168
Come join the Janus Fellows for a conversation with Professor Wendy Schiller on partisanship in light of the new Congress. Should President Obama and the Congressional Republicans use partisanship as a strategy? What can history tell us about the next two years of divided government? Is partisanship a healthy part of our system or should we work to avoid it? Professor Schiller will answer these questions and more in a short lecture follow by a Q & A. The conversation will be on Wednesday, February 9th at 7:00 PM in Barus and Holley 168 and as always, Nice Slice will be provided!
