J. Walter Wilson is Brown's main student resources and services building. Together with the renovation of Faunce House to create the Stephen Robert ’62 Campus Center, J. Walter Wilson represents the realization of key objectives in the Plan for Academic Enrichment: fostering a greater sense of community at Brown and more effectively integrating the academic and co-curricular lives of students.
Seminar Rooms -- Meetings and Study Hours
In addition to more than a dozen University offices (links on the left navigation bar), J. Walter Wilson is home to 11 seminar rooms that may be reserved through the University Scheduling Office when not in use for classes.
When these rooms are not reserved, students are free to use them to study. Please note that the third floor rooms are reserved for medical student study only after 7 PM weekdays and all day on weekends.
Please remember:
- Please take whatever you brought into each room with you.
- Leave all furniture in the room in which you found it.
- Return the room to the standard set-up (tables in a square with chairs on the outside) when you are finished.
