Letter from Charles Harding '09 about his Trip to the Amazon

Contemplative Studies Initiative Students Charles Harding ’09, Tyler Gage ’08.5, and Dan MacCombie ’08.5 visited Ecuador in the winter of 2009 where they are starting an Amazonian Tea Company. They write that they had
“an incredible time in the rainforest, learning about shamanic myths and plant medicine. While our trip was for business we had quite an incredible time learning about indigenous culture through our journeys in the jungle with a Kichwa family.”
