Graduate Courses

Graduate courses at Brown are generally considered those courses numbered above 2000.  Occasionally graduate students, particularly early in their coursework, take undergraduate courses that have a strong overlap with their research interests.  Such courses generally are numbered in the 1000-2000 range, indicating they are intermediate- or advanced-level undergraduate courses.  In that case, and by individual arrangement with the instructor, students generally complete additional work for these courses that goes beyond that required of undergraduates.

Current courses can be found on the departmental course listing page.
