Reminders For Approved Alternative or Petition programs

You must complete both an OIP electronic application and the application for the program provider, whose deadlines may differ from the OIP application deadlines. Please refer to the program provider website for information about their application deadlines.

Scholarship Information and Deadlines 

Summer 2016 Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program - Due November 23, 2016

Applications are now open for the CLS Program, through the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The CLS Program is a fully-funded overseas language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students, with the goal of broadening the base of Americans studying and mastering critical languages and to build relationships between the people of the United States and other countries. The fourteen CLS languages are: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu.

DAAD Undergraduate Scholarship for study in Germany for 4-10 month period during the 2016-17 German academic year (October 2016 - July 2017). Application opens December 1; deadline to apply is January 31, 2016.
