The staff of the Creative Arts Council moved into their new home in the Perry and Marty Granoff Center for the Creative Arts last week. We are currently sharing the space with Shawmut Design and Construction, who are putting the finishing touches on the Center. The Center will be open for classes and events in January. Come by to see our new space when you're back from break!
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its Golden Globe nominees this morning, and Laura Linney '86 received her 5th Golden Globe nomination, this time for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her portrayal of Cathy Jameson, a woman diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma in the Showtime series The Big C. Linney's previous win was for her portrayal of Abigail Adams in the HBO miniseries John Adams. The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be telecast on NBC on Sunday, January 16th.
