Urban Education Policy Program graduates have found placements in a variety of policy settings including nonprofit organizations, reform support agencies, charter schools, community development corporations, and leading arts organizations. Recent graduates have also gone on to pursue fellowship opportunities such as the Education Pioneers, a human capital organization focused on attracting and developing talented leaders capable of transforming K-12 urban education. Among our most notable placements in past years, we include the Boston based EDC and Jobs for the Future, Learning Point Associates located in Washington DC, New Leaders for New Schools, IFF, formerly the Illinois Facilities Fund, Highlander Charter School, Neighborworks Blackstone River Valley, Smith Hill Community Development Corporation, Ready to Learn Providence, and Trinity Repertory Company among many other organizations. UEP students have also gone onto further their education in PhD programs at the University of Wisconsin, University of Washington, University of Southern California, Trident University International, Vanderbilt, Columbia, Stanford, and Emory universities.
