The Career Fairs we host in late September and early spring are the most effective ways to identify and meet qualified internship and job candidates. We market our career fairs broadly through a variety of venues, including our website, newsletters, campus signage, and the Brown Daily Herald, our student newspaper. All students are encouraged to attend career fairs to learn about careers, to network, and to pursue internship or career opportunties.
Career fairs should not be your only on-campus recruiting activity, however. They are most successful when combined with on-campus interviews, information sessions, or employer workshops. Register through the JIB.
Our fall semester interview schedule runs from early October through the end of November. Spring semester interviews take place in early February through the end of April.
Holding a 90-minute information session on campus is a great way to generate enthusiasm about your organization while also providing valuable information to the student body.
Our Employer-in-Residence program allows you to meet with students informally, in small groups, for 20-30 minute sessions throughout the day. The informal setting promotes conversations allows students to ask questions and participate in conversations they may not be able to do in a larger setting.
