Hello all, my name is Evie (rhymes with "Chevy"), and I'm a first year student from Connecticut. I've spent summers for as long as I can remember on the grounds of a Maritime Museum, first wandering, then volunteering, then working, and this has fostered a deep appreciation for all things old and decrepit in me. Perhaps I will work as an art/artifact conservator someday, possibly concentrating in books and paper or in textiles. I've always been enchanted by the ancient Greek culture- the myths, the architecture, the literature, the art- but I've never had the opportunity to study ancient Greece before now. So, needless to say, I am very excited about this course.
