CUHK Research Summit: Digital Methods & Social Development

The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) is pleased to announce, on behalf of our partner institution Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the Inaugural CUHK Research Summit: Digital Methods & Social Development. The Summit offers a platform for young academics to interact with world-leading researchers and global peers. Participants will benefit from this unique opportunity to learn about the latest research and developments in a stimulating environment and to develop network with potential collaborators from all over the world.   

How to apply:
Brown doctoral students and faculty in all disciplines are welcome to apply. Please submit the following documents in a single PDF file to Ms. Mandy Chan at the C-Centre ([email protected]) :

  • a one-page letter explaining how training on digital methods and social development would benefit your current work,
  • CV, and
  • a 100-word bio.

Registration is free. For admitted participants from outside Hong Kong, on-campus accommodation (in twin rooms) and a limited amount of travel subsidies will be provided. Applicants who wish to apply for travel subsidies should indicate this request in their one-page letter (first page of the application PDF).

Application Deadline: May 21, 2016 | Admission decisions will be announced in early June.
