The Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity is in the process of developing Phase II of Pathways to Diversity and Inclusion — known widely as the Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, or the DIAP. The objective of Phase II is to not only review the original goals of the plan but to also update our strategies and tactics for meeting them. This process builds upon the inclusive community engagement that took place during the creation of the original plan. The campus community has contributed ideas and perspectives that will be instrumental in building upon our shared approach to meeting our common diversity and inclusion goals through open forums and meetings with governance groups and advisory committees across the University.
The process to develop Pathways to Diversity and Inclusion: Phase II will continue through the summer and the second phase of the DIAP strategic plan will be released in the Fall of 2020.
