The "Annual Outcome Report" produced by Brown University's Title IX Office provides information on complaints of sexual misconduct brought to the attention of Brown officials and the outcomes of those complaints. Figures in the report include campus and off-campus incidents, plus incidents that occurred in undisclosed locations.
The purpose of reporting statistics and outcomes is to increase awareness and promote transparency. By being as open as possible (within the constraints of confidentiality), the University hopes to create productive community dialogue and reflection. The Title IX Office will continue its efforts to cultivate an informed community with the goal of supporting a campus culture where all members are equally valued.
