Visiting Day

Visiting Day for Prospective Graduate Students

The Division of Applied Mathematics will be hosting Visiting Day on March 6, 2017, for those students who have been accepted into the Graduate Program.  The day will begin with an informal breakfast shared by students and faculty.  As the day progresses, our visiting students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members to discuss their curriculum and areas of research.  In the late morning, students have the optional opportunity to attend a graduate level course taught by Matt Harrison entitled, "Recent Applications of Probability and Statistics."  After lunch, students are welcome to meet with faculty, or enjoy some free time.  An optional campus tour is also offered in the mid-afternoon.  Visiting Day will close with a special dinner to be shared by our visitors and our current graduate students.
