The Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology & Biochemistry at Brown University is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to conduct studies in Dr. Mukesh K. Jain’s laboratory. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop expertise in mouse models of cardiovascular, neurovascular, and metabolic diseases.

Qualifications

Applicants must have completed all requirements for a doctoral degree before start of the position. Candidates with education and training in vascular biology, neuroscience, immunology/immunometabolism, or bioinformatics, are preferred. Experience with microsurgery in rodents, echography, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, or NGS, is highly desirable.

Salary is commensurate with experience, per Brown's postdoctoral salary scale (which matches the NIH Postdoctoral Stipend scale).
