Faculty Research & Teaching
The Center for the Study of the Early Modern World serves as the forum for a vibrant research community where faculty and affiliate members can pioneer new scholarly endeavors and develop innovative courses.
Graduate students play a vital part in the intellectual life of the Center, energetically participating in a wide range of activities. Usually the Graduate Colloquium meets several times a semester to hear and discuss papers by scholars or graduate students in an interdisciplinary context. In the times of the Covid-19 pandemic, some of the meetings may be virtual. Please contact the graduate student representatives, Dominic Bate (History of Art and Architecture) for more information.
