Associate Professor of Education Matthew Kraft and Education Department Research Analyst Alvin Christian have published a working paper, "In Search of High-Quality Evaluation Feedback: An Administrator Training Field Experiment," to question whether states' push to promote professional development as the primary purpose of teacher evaluation reforms is working. The paper examines teachers’ perceptions of the feedback they receive as part of Boston Public Schools’ new teacher evaluation system & evaluate an administrator training program intended to strengthen the quality of this feedback.
