JOHN MOREAU, Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in French Studies and Comparative Literature, M.A. in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College and Ph.D. in French from Princeton University.
He is currently completing a book on the representation of divine judgment in fourteenth-century French poetry and also at work on a new project about hostages and prisoners of war in medieval literature. Other scholarly interests include medieval English, Occitan, Italian, and Latin texts, debate poetry, literary ethics, and Québécois and Acadian literature.
