Deon Terblanche, atmospheric scientist, weather and climate services expert, and outgoing Director of Research at the World Meteorological Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, is affiliating with IBES as an honorary professor. Dr. Terblanche served as a member of the International Commission on Clouds and Precipitation, on the International Aerosol-Precipitation Science Assessment Group, and as chair of the WMO Expert Team on Weather Modification. He also consults and advises governments around the world on radar meteorology.
