Objectives: At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to: Recognize how cultural stereotypes lead to cognitive biases that can unintentionally and unwittingly influence perceptions and judgments of individuals from a stereotyped group; Discuss how "role congruity" exists for men but not women in leadership roles; and Describe at least two strategies one can practice to "break the bias habit" and align unintentional biases with equalitarian beliefs.
