PhD candidate, Brian Kilpatrick, has been awarded the first ever Exoplanet Science Prize Fellowship at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI).  

 

STScI serves as the Science Operations Center for the Hubble Space Telescope and the James Webb Space Telescope, and supports the archives for Kepler/K2 and TESS.  The goal of this Fellowship is to allow outstanding postdoctoral researchers working on innovative scientific studies to conduct independent research in the field of exoplanetary science leveraging the vast resources of the Institute. 

 

While at Brown, Brian has studied under Professor Greg Tucker.
