Dr. Joseph Hogan to give Global Health Lecture

Department Chair and Carole & Lawrence Sirovich Professor of Public Health and Professor of Biostatistics, Joseph Hogan, ScD, will present a lecture on “Building a Kenyan-US Partnership for Biostatistics Research and Training”. Dr. Hogan’s lecture will be made on Wednesday, 29 November 2017, 12:00 pm at the Alpert Medical School, as part of the University's Global Health Initiative.

Dr. Hogan and his research has focused on HIV and AIDS through a vast network of research programs such as AMPATH and CFAR (The Center for AIDS Research). His successful participation as Primary Investigator of the NAMBARI (Moi-Brown Partnership for HIV Biostatistics Training) has allowed for advanced biostatistics training and education between Moi and Brown, benefiting students, faculty and future biostatisticians.
