Spring 2016 Career Information Series - A Data Science Primer

The Department of Biostatistics is proud to welcome John Young, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Analytic Consulting for Epsilon on Friday, 8 April 2016, as part of our Spring 2016 Career Information Series.

Mr. Young will presenting "A Data Science Primer".

Mr. Young oversees the 125+ member Analytic Consulting Group of Epsilon and is the organization's "go-to analytics expert".  Mr. Young's responsibilities also include design and consultation on various database marketing analytic engagements including predictive modeling, segmentation, measurement and profiling.  Mr. Young and Epsilon's Analytic Consulting Group works with companies in numerous industries including financial services, technology, retail, health care and not-for-profit companies.

Before joining Epsilon in 1994, Mr. Young was a Marketing Research Manager at Digitas, a Market Research Manger at Citizens Bank, the Research Manager at the American Institute of CPAs and he began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as an Assistant Economist.  Mr. Young holds a BS and MS in Economics from Colorado State University.
