Faculty News: Professor Eng-Beng Lim awarded the 2013 CLAGS Fellowship

Congratulations to Eng-Beng Lim for his recent CLAGS Fellowship award. CLAGS Fellowships are highly competitive awards so it is quite an achievement. It is clear that judges were excited about Eng-Beng's work and his recent book project, Brown Boys and Rice Queens: Spellbinding Performance in the Asias.

Eng Beng Lim is Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies at Brown University, and a faculty affiliate of the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, Department of East Asian Studies, and the Department of American Studies. He is also a Gender and Sexuality Studies board member at the Pembroke Center for teaching and research on women.
