All are welcome to participate and learn about current and on-going global health research being conducted by Brown students and their faculty mentors!
Keynote speaker: Jonathan Kurtis, MD, PhD,
Stanley M. Aronson Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Chair of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
“Targeted Drug Development for Falciparum Malaria”
Keynote followed by student award & presentation for best global health research poster, followed by poster session & reception. Refreshments will be provided.
Students from all academic levels and disciplines are invited to present posters on their global health related research projects and experiences.
Poster submissions are open until Monday, April, 11, 2022 at 9am. Please contact [email protected] if interested in presenting a poster.
In compliance with current Brown AMS guidelines, masks will be required during the event.

Call For Abstracts (Closed April 1, 2022)
A $500 award is presented to one student for “Best Global Health Poster", and that student is invited to give a short talk on their research. To be eligible for the prize, a student must have participated in research involving a critical global health issue impacting a low or middle-income country.
