Visitor Information

There are three options for Visitor Parking:

  1. Street parking
  2. Visitor Parking Lot
  3. Visitor Pass Parking – a Brown department pre-purchases a Visitor Pass for Lots 2 or 57 (passes cannot be used in the Visitor Parking Lot located on Brrok St.)

 

Visitor Parking Lot

  • Location: Brook St. behind Minden Hall
    (southeast corner of Brook St. and Waterman Ave. - Map)
  • Parking Pay Stations : The lot is serviced by two Pay and Display parking pay stations - one located at the Brook St. entrance and the other located mid-lot.
  • Payment Options: The Pay Stations accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), U.S. coins and U.S. bills. (Note that the pay stations do not give change.)

NOTE: Visitor Parking Passes cannot be used in the Visitor Parking Lot.

Parking Rates
Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm $3.00/hour
All Day Rate until 6pm (M-F) $15.00
Weekdays after 6pm, weekends, holidays $1.50/hour

Note to departments: The new pay stations do not allow for department-validated rates. The rate is the same for all visitors.

 

The Inn at Brown and Conference Parking

Overnight guests at the Inn may obtain parking permits from the Inn. Conference attendees may obtain parking permits from Conference Services.

Department Information

  • Visitor Parking Pass : Visitor Parking Passes may be purchased by departments for parking in Lots 2 or 57. The Pass Rate is $10 / day. To purchase passes, please complete the visitor parking pass request and forward to the Transportation Office via:
