Brown’s Transportation Office provides resources and information to the Brown Community promoting convenient, safe, and environmentally friendly ways to move around the campus, travel to and from Brown, and reduce traffic congestion on College Hill.

The Transportation Office also manages all aspects related to parking on campus including traffic demand management, parking lot maintenance, permit issuance, service of parking equipment, and parking enforcement.

Brown University has numerous parking lots and offers annual parking permits, daily flat rates and short-term parking options for the convenience of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

The Office also manages the safeRIDE cooperative safety-oriented transportation service offered to the Brown community.
