Library Undergraduate Research Award

Each year, two Brown undergraduates are awarded $750 each for exceptional research projects that make creative and extensive use of the Brown Library's collections. Projects can be an independent research effort or an assignment for a course at Brown, but they cannot be a senior honors thesis. Multimedia/digital projects are encouraged.

Applicants for the Library Undergraduate Research Award must be current full-time students working toward a Brown University undergraduate degree. Individuals or teams of students may apply. Award recipients give short presentations on their research projects, which are showcased on the Brown University Library website and added to the Brown Archives.
