Directions to Brown University

BY PLANE

The Brown University campus is located about 10 miles from T.F. Green International Airport (Providence), served by most national and regional airlines.  The most economical transportation is Airport Taxi (401) 737-2868.

From Logan International Airport (Boston), take the Peter Pan bus (401 751-8800) to Providence. 

BY TRAIN

Providence is on the Northeast Corridor Amtrak route. The train station is located in the center of Providence's downtown, just below the State House. It is a brief walk or taxi ride to campus.

BY CAR

Providence is located on Interstate Route 95, the major East Coast interstate. Providence is three hours from New York City and less than one hour from Boston. Brown University is situated on College Hill, overlooking Benefit Street.

From the north/Boston:
Take I-95 south to Exit 20, (I-195: Cape Cod, East Providence). Once on I-195, take Exit 2. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Wickenden Street. At the second light, turn left onto Brook Street. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Power Street. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Brown Street. You will be facing the Brown campus. 

From the south/New York or the Providence/T.F. Green Airport:
I-95 north to Exit 20 (I-195: Cape Cod, East Providence). Once on I-195, take Exit 2.At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Wickenden Street.At the second light, turn left onto Brook Street. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Power Street. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Brown Street. You will be facing the Brown campus 

From the East/Cape Cod & Fall River:
Take I-195 west to Exit 3 (Gano Street)At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Gano Street. At the blinking yellow light, turn left onto Power Street. At the corner of Power and Brown Streets, turn right. You will be facing the Brown campus
