Boston's Logan Airport is ~50 miles from Providence. If you opt to fly into Logan, you will have to take a shuttle, bus, or train to Downtown Providence. Expect this commute to take two hours. There are several ways to get from Logan Airport to Providence:

TF Green Airport in Warwick, RI, is ~10 miles from Providence. To get from TF Green Airport to Downtown Providence:
The RIPTA Bus is the cheapest option to and from TF Green Airport to Kennedy Plaza (Downtown Providence). Buses depart once an hour; it is advised that you plan accordingly. View outbound schedules at the airport or online at http://www.ripta.com.
