OIDI began meeting with academic departments in Fall 2016 and continues to meet with them to support the implementation of their DDIAPs.
The Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion worked closely with departments in Spring and Summer 2016. OIDI will meet with departments in Fall 2016 to provide support for implementation of departmental plans.
DOF and OIDI have sent departmental guides to chairs and directors. OIDI is meeting with individual departments, with a goal to complete DDIAPs by June 1, 2016. Non-academic units will receive a guide in early March with a September 1 deadline for submission.
Using a guide created by OIDI for developing departmental diversity and inclusion action plans, all academic, administrative, and student-facing departments and centers will develop multiyear plans for diversity and inclusion by the end of the 2015-16 academic year. OIDI plans to hold a series of information sessions in spring 2016 to help departments complete a plan.
