Keep in Touch

While you are away, it is important to pay close attention to any communication coming from the University, especially from the Office of Financial Aid, the Loan Office, or the Student Financial Services. Students who are abroad are not exempt from complying with application deadlines and requirements to determine eligibility for financial aid. Your financial aid application requirements for the upcoming academic year should be posted on Banner Self-Service in January, and the university's deadline to apply for financial aid is usually in early May. Additional application information can be found on the Office of Financial Aid's website.

In addition to academics and intercultural immersion, studying abroad provides great opportunities to expand your personal and professional networks. Many students return from study abroad experiences with lifelong connections. Establishing connections is incredibly rewarding and it requires a great deal of intentionality and effort.
