Congratulations to CESH's Shaun Forbes on receiving a 2018 SG Pauker Award for Quantitative Methods and Theoretical Developments (QMTD) at the 2018 annual meeting of the Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM) in Montreal for his work: "Bounding the Implications of Non-compliance in Randomized Trials of Orthopedic Surgery”.

This is the 2nd SMDM award in Methods in 3 years for Forbes. It is also the 4th award in 5 years for Brown. Previous awardees were Christopher W Halladay (2013) in health policy, Shaun P Forbes (2016) in methods, and Alexandra G Ellis (2017) in methods.
