Events at Brown Instagram Story

As part of OUC’s ongoing effort to assist campus partners in publicizing events at Brown, we post a weekly Instagram Story that promotes events happening across campus that are open to the public or to broad segments of the campus community.

Because Instagram is a visual medium, we ask that you submit Story cards with an element of visual interest along with the required copy below:

  • name of event
  • brief description
  • date/time
  • audience (public or otherwise)

Do not include URLs in the image.

All submissions should be emailed to [email protected] by the end of the day on Thursday of each week to be included in the post for the following Monday. In your submission, include a link to a registration form or an Events@Brown item for the link sticker on your card. We will also include a link back to the full Events@Brown weekly listing in the closing card.

Image requirements

Cards should be vertically oriented in the 9:16 aspect ratio, with minimum dimensions of 1080px by 1920px. Please follow these design guidelines.
