An independent spirit lives throughout Brown.
Brown’s Office of University Communications has a dual mission — to be strategic partners to offices and departments across campus in advancing the most effective approaches to communicating their individual excellence, and to do so within the context of a charge to elevate the distinction of Brown University to broader audiences around the world.
We are many stories. One Brown.
We work with members of our community to develop and guide strategic communications and engagement across the full range of communications: news, media outreach, print, web and digital, strategic communications and marketing, crisis communications, social media and multimedia.
We manage the campuswide communications standards and guidelines that safeguard the strong identity of Brown and promote effective communications about our academic and campus life.
These presentations and tutorials, provided by the Office of University Communications, can help with print and digital communication projects. More will be added regularly.
Brown’s Identity Guidelines provide the resources for communicating about the individual excellence of your department or program that contributes to the distinctiveness of “what is Brown.”
The Office of University Communications is composed of strategists, creators, problem-solvers, innovators, thinkers and doers.
