Who
Must Attend?
Laser Safety Training is required for ALL operators and users of
Class 3b or Class 4 lasers. A list of individuals who have already
completed this training is available through the Office of Environmental
Health & Safety and can be obtained by contacting the Laser
Safety Officer at 863-1738.
When
Must Initial Training be Completed?
Laser Safety Training and a baseline eye exam must be completed
prior to working with Class 3b or 4 lasers.
How
Often Must I Attend a Refresher Course?
Laser Safety Training is required to be completed every 5 years
or as recommended by the Radiation Safety Officer.
