Leah Neiman has a B.A., in Ancient Mediterranean Studies & Classics, summa cum laude, from Emory University (2018), and an M.A., Museum and Gallery Studies, with distinction, from University of St. Andrews (2019). Her Master's dissertation was entitled, "(Re)presenting Gender: A Feminist Approach to Interpreting Archaeology in Museums”. Her undergraduate honors thesis was entitled, “It is a Child for Her: Medical and Magical Treatments of Reproduction in the Middle Kingdom”. Her fieldwork includes Samothrace, Greece; Turkana Basin Institute Field School, Kenya. Leah worked as a research assistant coordinating public engagement for the "Through a Glass Darkly: The Bridges Collection" project in the School of Classics at the University of St. Andrews, and the Education Co-Lead for the “Unfolding Fans: The Beauty Within” exhibition at the St. Andrews Museum. In addition, Leah was an Education Department Intern at the Michael C. Carlos Museum, in Atlanta, GA.
