Biography
My interdisciplinary background is a result of studying and working at a number of departments in the USA and UK. I hold a BA in Anthropology and Archaeology from the University of California, San Diego, an MPhil in Archaeological Science from Cambridge University, and a PhD in Archaeology from University College London.
After completing my studies, I held a Post-Doctoral position on the Leverhulme Trust Greek Colonization Project in the Faculty of Classics, University of Cambridge. I then held a two-year University Lectureship in Classical Archaeology at the University of Wales, Lampeter. Last year, I held the Post-Doctoral fellowship at the Institute for European and Mediterranean Archaeology at the University of Buffalo, SUNY.
My research interests focus on social developments of the early Iron Age Mediterranean by investigating the material remains of social practices, particularly in contexts of cultural interaction amongst the Greeks, Etruscans, Phoenicians, and Romans.
