Biography
Michelle Berenfeld is a visiting assistant professor of archaeology at the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World at Brown University. She has been a member of the Aphrodisias excavation team since 1997. Her research interests include the intersection of public and private life in Graeco-Roman cities, the social and political functions of houses, and late antiquity.
